Welcome to Portland TV, is the broadcasting arm of Northern and Shell. In addition to the twenty-five channels it owns across SKY, DTH and Cable, Portland also produces around a hundred and twenty adverts a year, alongside music videos and multi-camera event coverage.

With two fully-equipped studios, fourteen busy edit and audio suites along with two in house production teams, Portland is unique in that it provides an all in one facility for creative production, studio and post production requirements.

Portland TX offers a fully managed playout solution using the latest file based automation systems, digital asset management, with expansion capabilities to increase the number of channels broadcast. TX combines the expertise and reliability of industry leading technology to provide a bespoke and personal service to clients, offering a turnkey service from EPG, Scheduling, Dubbing, Pay Per View and Open Streamers. Most importantly, it is the only independent playout centre to own a state of the art multiplexer on site, offering clients immediate savings by avoiding  costly line rental.
